Murphy Mashes 2 Homers in 7-2 Chicago Win
|
Chicago shortstop Grant Murphy had a 4-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 7-2. Enrique Nunez, who leads the NBC in quality starts with 7, was the winner. He's now 3-1. The loser was Antonio Reynosa. Tampa Bay's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
With Chicago leading 1-0 in the bottom of the second, Murphy hit a changeup from Antonio Reynosa for a 3-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Bears ahead, 4-0.
"I'm a bit of a clubhouse prankster," said Murphy. "But it's all business when we're on the field."
