David Thompson Bashes Three over the Wall Friday, April 12th , 2002 David Thompson was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 6-1 New Orleans Saints triumph at Louisiana Superdome. The 36-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Saints past the Atlanta Falcons. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Thompson told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate."
