The 23-year-old hurler piled up 5 wins and no losses for the Eagles last month and won the National Conference Pitcher of the Month award for his efforts. Lavareda stymied opposing batters on 44 base hits and a .257 batting average. He rang up 36 strikeouts in 45 innings of work, surrendered 13 walks and fashioned a sparkling 2.60 ERA. |
