The Cleveland Browns spoiled a good performance by San Diego left fielder Jose Escandon, bumping off San Diego, 4-3, at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Escandon went 4 for 4 with 4 singles. Earning his 11th save for Cleveland was Adam Taute. The 'W' lifts Cleveland's record to 18-22.

Eric Stoddard helped out the Cleveland cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher went 2-4 with a double.

"It feels good, just a great win all around," Stoddard said after the game.
