At Chargers Stadium, the Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

San Diego starter Eddy Canales kept the Cincinnati hitters in check, while his team cruised to a win, 9-0. The Chargers, at 22-17, lead by one game in their division.

San Diego starter Eddy Canales pitched like a boss. The 6-foot-1 right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.2 innings.

"Eddy's stuff looked really, really crisp," said Manny Garcia, the Chargers manager.
