Raiders Pocket 7-5 Win Against San Diego
|
The 3-RBI night of right fielder Danny Castillo helped the Oakland Raiders triumph, 7-5, over the San Diego Chargers. Will Ritchey earned the win for Oakland. He lasted 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while striking out 6. With the win, he raised his record to 6-1. Jesus Verdugo recorded the save for Oakland, his 5th of the season.
In the bottom of the sixth, Oakland shortstop Chris Shaver had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Shaver stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 4-2, Oakland. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
"What's not to like about a win?" said Castillo.
