Giants Rally to Win
New York starter Scott Ambler pitched well against the New Orleans Saints at Louisiana Superdome. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-2, in 14 innings. T.J. Silverman, now 3-0, was credited with the win in 0.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. At 22-24, the Giants claim third place in the National Conference East.

New York used a timely hit from John Trippiedi to get the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to put the Giants ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Scott Claxton.
