The San Diego Chargers knocked off the New York Jets, 7-2, at Giants Stadium. Leo Rodriguez hit 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 3 runs. San Diego goes to 11-10.

Rodriguez had a game-changing double in the top of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from Alfredo Padilla, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Chargers a 4-2 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Rodriguez.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said San Diego skipper Manny Garcia.
