Jung, Buccaneers Finish Off Lions, 6-1
|
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers went home winners at Raymond James Stadium, thanks in large part to starter Seong-rae Jung. Jung stifled the Detroit Lions, enabling Tampa Bay to grab the 6-1 win. The Lions, now 5-9, continue their poor start.
Jung confounded Detroit hitters. Over 9 innings, he allowed 1 run on 4 hits.
"Seong-rae gave us a really big performance," said Tampa Bay manager Justin Wilson.
