Panthers 2-0 Victors Over Seattle
|
The Carolina Panthers got a magnificent performance from pitcher Isaiah Bass, who muffled the Seattle offense en route to a tight, 2-0 Panthers win at Ericsson Stadium. The save was credited to Jason King, his 7th. Carolina, now 9-5, has played well in the early going.
Jon Jungels hit a run-scoring triple off Jim Rooks in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Panthers in front, 1-0. Jungels had 1 walk, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 1 for 3.
"It's a mindset," said Bass. "Just trying to do your job, trying to be consistent."
