Bartnick Slugs Rams to 15-5 Win
The St. Louis Rams defeated the Chicago Bears, 15-5, at Soldier Field. St. Louis second baseman Pat Bartnick had a superb performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Chicago falls to 3-5.

Vic de Leon had a big 2-run double for the Rams in the top of the second inning. With St. Louis leading 2-1 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from 28-year old left-handed pitcher Harry McDonald and swatted a double to right. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rams ahead, 4-1.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," de Leon said.
