The Baltimore Ravens beat the San Diego Chargers, 4-3, at Chargers Stadium. Ryan Nikolic, in particular, was impressive. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2. Picking up his 3rd save was 24-year old right-handed pitcher David Morales. The loss drops San Diego to 8-9.

Alex Vazquez had a direct impact on the outcome. Vazquez contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Baltimore up, 3-0.

In postgame remarks to the Baltimore Herald, Vazquez was in a reflective mood. "Sometimes," he said, "I can't believe my good luck. Playing a game and making a living at it."
