NBC Names 49ers Buss Winner Monday, May 27th , 2002 It was an extraordinary week for Jesse Buss of the San Francisco 49ers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .500, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the National Conference. Last week Buss went 11-for-22, racked up 3 home runs and 7 RBIs and scored 4 runs. It was a heck of a week for the San Francisco shortstop. Buss is currently batting .341 with 11 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
