The Houston Texans topped the Cleveland Browns, 8-3, in American Conference action at Reliant Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Houston right fielder Alex Guzman. The winner in relief was Jeff Wagner. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-0. The Texans, now 8-2, have stormed out of the gates.

With the game tied, 3-3, in the bottom of the seventh, Guzman had a key at-bat for Houston. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Guzman hit a run-scoring single off Jose Osorio, making the score 4-3, Texans.

Guzman called the win "what playing unselfish baseball looks like."
