Texans Rally Late to Nip Bengals
|
The Cincinnati Bengals got a superb performance from pitcher Joe Shea, but the Houston Texans still won the game, 5-4. Shea threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball. Houston, now 6-2, is setting the league on fire so far.
Bob Brackman came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The second baseman smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 5-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Nice win," said Brackman. "Not sure what else you want me to say."
