Riding the 3-hit performance of the 24-year old second baseman Bob Brackman, the Houston Texans defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, 12-2. Eric Snow picked up the win with 6.1 innings of work. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 6. On the season, he is now 2-0.

Houston won the game in part because of Edwin Rendon. The shortstop ripped a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Texans ahead, 6-1. For the game, Rendon had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.
