New York second baseman Adam Michael had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Indianapolis Colts, 7-6. The win went to Walt Martinez in relief, making him now 1-0. Justin Leah took the loss for Indianapolis. Indianapolis falls to 5-3.
Pat Hines was the walk-off hero for New York. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jets catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Ben Ramirez.
