Las Vegas Raiders starter Ruben Garcia found his groove in his team's 6-3 win over the New England Patriots. Max Suarez came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Jesus Verdugo nailed down the save.

Las Vegas took a 6-3 lead on Bobby Mellott's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Mellott hit in the bottom of the eighth, left New England pitcher Gaby McKnight visibly frustrated.

Garcia attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."

The loss puts New England at 2-3.
