Raiders Need Extra Innings to Top Patriots, 11-7
The Las Vegas Raiders and the New England Patriots played into extra innings before the winner was determined. The Raiders won it, 11-7, in 10 innings. In the game, Las Vegas first baseman Mike Short was 3-3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Las Vegas is now 1-3.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Short hit a fastball from Roberto Velazquez for a grand slam home run. The Raiders, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
