|
Trystão Martinez could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Baltimore Ravens lost, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Buffalo Bills at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Ruben Marcelo earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He upped his record to 2-0. Tom Annis picked up the save, his 5th.
Buffalo took a 1-0 lead on Joe Conlin's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Conlin hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Baltimore pitcher Trystão Martinez visibly frustrated.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Brian Klaassen. "That was the problem."
Buffalo, at 30-22, holds down second place in the American Conference East.
