Ravens Earn Late 8-7 Win
The Baltimore Ravens gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The 8-7 Baltimore win over Indianapolis was due largely to Ruben Gomez. The Ravens third baseman was 3-3 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place Ravens go to 28-23.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Baltimore. That's when Bryan Thomas hit a 2-run home run off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Ryan Mattox to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The ending was a real humdinger," Gomez told reporters after the game.
