Raiders Earn 3-2 Win Against Texans
|
Oakland starter Brandon McGee pitched well against the Houston Texans at Reliant Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a win, 3-2, in 10 innings. The Raiders sit in third place in the American Conference West with a record of 21-25.
Oakland used the timely hitting of Marcos Lemus to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Raiders on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"This is a resilient bunch," said Oakland manager Chris Allen.
