Tight Tilt Goes to Bills, 4-3
|
Jimmy Lethco did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Tennessee Titans from being beaten, 4-3, to the Buffalo Bills at The Coliseum. Lethco went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Eric Robinson earned the win to go to 4-5. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts in 7.1 innings of work. Earning his 11th save for Buffalo was Tony Loaiza.
Buffalo used a clutch at-bat from Kelly Polen to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Bills ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Buffalo manager Scott Scott.
Buffalo has run its win streak to 4 consecutive.
