The Indianapolis Colts faced a tenacious opponent in Denver pitcher Andres Pedrazzini, but still scratched out a win at Invesco Field at Mile High by a final score of 4-3 in 11 innings. Pedrazzini went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs. Indianapolis reliever Ryan Mattox got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Jeff Fritzler was tagged with the loss. Indianapolis is now 26-18, Denver 23-21.

Indianapolis needed the clutch hitting of Mark Vallelunga to seal the deal. The shortstop swatted a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Colts on top, 4-3. For the game, Vallelunga had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"That was fun, that was just good baseball," said Vallelunga.
