Dolphins Use Late Rally to Win 4th Straight
|
The Miami Dolphins faced a tough opponent in Tennessee pitcher David de Jesus, but did just enough to pull out the victory at The Coliseum by a final score of 4-2. de Jesus went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Francisco Aloy zipped up his 1st save. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Dolphins.
Marcos Lucero came through with a big-time hit for Miami. The third baseman smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 4-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"If the personal accolades come, so be it," said Lucero. "I just want to win ballgames."
