Denver turned a good effort from starter Jose Madrid into a win over the Cleveland Browns at Invesco Field at Mile High. The Broncos won the game, 5-2. The Broncos, at 20-17, have now won 5 straight.

Joe Roquemore aided the Denver cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once.

Said losing manager Mike Watson: "It's very easy to sit in an ivory tower and critique the pitching, but the bottom line is we need to score runs."
