The Oakland Raiders downed the Baltimore Ravens, 7-6, at Ravens Stadium at Camden Yards. Bobby Mellott led the way, going 3-for-4 for Oakland. The winner was Ruben Garcia in relief. His record improves to 2-3. David Morales took the loss. Jesus Verdugo finished to wrap up his 7th save.

Mike Short went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs for Oakland. The 32-year old first baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the ninth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring walk off David Morales. It was his 20th walk of the season.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Mellott.

Oakland is now 16-20, Baltimore 20-16.
