The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the Denver Broncos, 3-2, at Invesco Field at Mile High. Chikafusa Nishida was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The 11-year veteran was a menace to Denver all day. Dustin Johnson recorded the save for Jacksonville, his 2nd of the season. At 20-12, the Jaguars have played well so far.
Ben Kraus came through with a big-time hit for Jacksonville. The pinch hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Every loss hurts," said Denver manager Tristen Sawyer. "But this was a tough one."
