Pittsburgh and New York duked it out and the Steelers came out victorious.

Pittsburgh pitcher Mario Gamboa did his part in helping his team beat the New York Jets, 4-1. The left-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Pittsburgh is still hoping to get on a roll. The win is just their 8th in 32 games.

With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Gabriel Nieves had a game-changing hit. The Steelers third baseman slammed a 2-run single off Justin DeCola, making the score 4-1, Pittsburgh.

"Every time I step on the mound, I want to go out there and compete and bring my best game," said Gamboa.
