The Houston Texans picked up a win at Reliant Stadium, downing the Baltimore Ravens, 3-2. On the mound for Houston was left-hander Jake Van Dellen, who played a pivotal role in the win. The triumph puts Houston at 21-12 for the season.

Houston took a 3-2 lead on Bob Stiffler's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Stiffler hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Baltimore pitcher Danny Ascencio visibly frustrated.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Houston skipper Brett Main.
