Raiders Lose to Broncos in Walk-Off
The fans at Invesco Field at Mile High witnessed quite a game.

The Denver Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders, 8-7, at Invesco Field at Mile High. Joe Roquemore, who is tied for 10th in the ABC in hits with 37, starred for Denver. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. Reliever Zack Pulley picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. David Seitz took the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Denver catcher Cody Will, facing David Seitz, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Broncos the 8-7 win.

"The crowd went wild," Roquemore said.

The Raiders drop to 12-18, as their fitful start to the 2002 campaign continues.
