Raiders Suffer 3-2 Home Defeat
|
Houston parlayed a decent outing from starter Eric Snow into a solid win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The final score was 3-2. Keith Barnes nailed down the save. Houston goes to 2-0 with the win.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Edwin Rendon? The Houston second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Texans on top, 2-1. For the game, Rendon had 1 double and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
Las Vegas manager Chris Allen said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
