Dallas Upended, 5-1, by New York
|
New York Giants starter Steve Paradis found his groove in his team's 5-1 win over the Dallas Cowboys. New York is in third place in the National Conference East with a record of 25-27.
New York used the hitting of Shawn Skinner to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Giants on top, 3-1. For the game, Skinner had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"I think every team will tell you that the pitching sets the tone, especially the starters," said New York skipper Walt Dierdorff.
