Minnesota right-hander Angelo Medina helped his team edge Green Bay by the score of 3-2 in 11 innings. Medina kept the opposing lineup in check. Minnesota is now 26-23.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jimmy Smith in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a run-scoring double off 27-year old right-handed pitcher Fernando Aleman to win the game for Minnesota. The home crowd went nuts.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Smith.
