Wallin Socks 2 Homers in 6-4 Win
|
A 5-RBI performance from the former first round draft pick Dan Wallin helped the Dallas Cowboys beat the Seattle Seahawks, 6-4. Hisaki Hanada, the winner, improved to 2-1. He held the Seahawks to 2 runs on 4 hits over 5 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 1. Sam Stuart picked up his 10th save of the season.
Dallas grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Wallin hit a grand slam home run off Jordan Glenn. His 17th home run of the season put the Cowboys out in front, 6-2.
Wallin attributed the win to his team's "grittiness."
Dallas is in last place in the National Conference East with a record of 24-27.
