Rams Slap 5-3 Loss on Minnesota
|
The St. Louis Rams beat the Minnesota Vikings, 5-3. St. Louis pitcher and San Pedro de MacorĂs, Dominican Republic, native Tony Palomera led the way. Palomera picked up the win for St. Louis, going 6 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 4-2. Earning his 7th save for St. Louis was Chris Salasar.
St. Louis first baseman Vic de Leon helped the Rams go up, 5-3, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, de Leon hit a 2-run single off Minnesota pitcher Aaron Amato.
"It was a good effort all around," said Palomera.
The Rams, at 22-20, sit in second place in the National Conference West.
