Atlanta Defeated by Arizona, 6-3
|
Arizona Cardinals starter Safi Mothudi pitched well against the Atlanta Falcons at Sun Devil Stadium, leading his team to a win, 6-3. Earning his 1st save for Arizona was Juan Telles. At 18-20, Arizona is in third place in the National Conference West.
Arizona shortstop Willie Chediak contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 38th hit of the season and put the Cardinals ahead, 3-1.
"I felt good up there," said Chediak. "I saw the ball well."
