Santibanez Helps Giants Defeat Vikings, 12-5
A 8-RBI performance from Ricardo Santibanez, who is tied for 6th in the NBC with a .441 on-base percentage, helped the New York Giants beat the Minnesota Vikings, 12-5. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for New York.

With New York leading 3-2 in the bottom of the second, Santibanez hit a cutter from Eric McNutt for a bases-clearing double. It was his 7th double of the season and put the Giants ahead, 6-2.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said New York skipper Walt Dierdorff.
