Giants Send Seattle Home with 4-2 Loss
|
Baseball fans saw a good contest between the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks.
The New York Giants knocked off the Seattle Seahawks, 4-2, in National Conference action at Seahawks Stadium. New York pitcher and Franconia, Virginia, native Alex Perez had an outstanding performance. Joe Hager picked up his 8th save of the season.
New York used the hitting of Ricardo Santibanez to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Giants on top, 2-0. For the game, Santibanez had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Perez.
New York is now 15-18. Seattle is 15-18.
