Vikings Rally to Eke Out Win
The Minnesota Vikings reigned over the Seattle Seahawks in damp conditions.

Evan Huber was instrumental in his team's 8-7, extra-inning triumph over the Seattle Seahawks. The second baseman went 3 for 6 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs for the Minnesota Vikings. The Seahawks fall to 12-17 and continue their lackluster start to the 2002 season.

Alberto Mancia was 1-5 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Minnesota. The 27-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the 11th. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 7-7 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Edward Jacklin. It was his 18th RBI of the season.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Jim Lee.
