Alejandro Navarro did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Minnesota Vikings from being beaten, 4-3, to the Arizona Cardinals at Sun Devil Stadium. Navarro was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. John Greene got credit for the win, improving to 3-2. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 8 innings. With the loss, Minnesota falls to 12-12.
Aaron Seigle drove in one run for Arizona. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the eighth inning, Seigle, who is tied for 9th in the NBC in triples with 1, had a clutch at-bat. Facing Minnesota hurler Victor Gonzalez, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the Cardinals a 4-3 lead.
