Hurler Todd Rowe gave the Houston Texans a solid start. The native of Chicago, Illinois helped his team defeat the Buffalo Bills, 3-2, at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Dennis Harris was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save. Houston, at 17-3, is off to a blistering start.

Had Jeremy Dodson not delivered a key base hit in the top of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Dodson hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Texans.

"I was able to fill up the zone," said Rowe.
