Atlanta Falters Again, Loses, 6-5, to Dallas
Fans watched the Dallas Cowboys and the Atlanta Falcons fight to the finish.

The inspired effort of Atlanta left fielder Jim Steen was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-5, to the Dallas Cowboys. Steen was 2 for 3 with a double and 2 walks. Tyler Ponticello earned the save for Dallas.

The Cowboys got a big at-bat from first baseman Bryce Newhouse. For the game, Newhouse went 1-5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Dallas a 5-4 lead.

"They beat us fair and square," Atlanta skipper Jake Hodgkinson said.

The Falcons, at 4-13, have stumbled out of the gate.
