Seahawks Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Cowboys, 6-4
|
The Seattle Seahawks picked up a win at Cowboys Park, knocking off the Dallas Cowboys, 6-4. Starting pitcher Jose Abreu played a key role in the triumph. Abreu, now 1-0, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. Dallas falls to 2-3.
Josh Bartlett came through with a big-time hit for Seattle. The pinch hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.
"Winning never gets dull," said Bartlett.
